Our History

2000 Television has been in operation since 1998 and has become a reliable camera crew hire backbone for many blue chip production companies and broadcast stations.

The Managing Director Shayne Kidner holds over 13 years experience in running equipment hire and crew hire services to the television & corporate industry. He worked and gained experience for six years with a facilities company before leaving to set up 2000 Television Limited.

Within its first year of business the company was building relationships and providing reliable crews to major players in the TV industry. Within the first year of operation the company received contracts with broadcasters of which we still hold today.

?The reason why I set up a UK Camera Crew company was to establish one point of contact for customers crewing needs. Most other crew hire companies specialise in the area in which they are based. I wanted to set-up the first organisation where customers could ring one company to fulfil all there crewing needs across England Wales Scotland & Ireland
